Celebration

  • We will take care of you; you are our esteemed guests!

  • The event venue address will be: Château de Garde, 3 Garde, 33420 Moulon, France.

  • You are invited to join us on August 12 between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

  • In the evening, you will be invited to return to your accommodation. A shuttle service will be provided for those less able to drive, as your comfort and safety are important to us!

  • Accommodations may be available for those who would like them; please let us know in the form below.

  • You are also invited for a continental breakfast on the morning of August 13, starting at 10:00 a.m.

  • A beautiful hanging garden offering a stunning walk of about 2 hours.

  • It is recommended to book in advance.

  • An afternoon visit followed by a picnic in the park/parking area below is recommended.

Milandes Castle

  • A beautiful former residence of the Franco-American singer/dancer Josephine Baker.

  • It is recommended to book in advance.

  • A tour of the castle interior and gardens is available. Eagle shows are also offered.

The Arcachon Bay

  • If you’re looking for a moment by the Atlantic coast, you’ll find many attractions around the Arcachon Bay. Beaches, seaside towns, and more are available.

  • The Dune of Pilat is a sand dune to climb; be sure to stay hydrated during hot days.

  • Arcachon is a beautiful seaside town where you’ll find beaches, shops, and restaurants to suit your desires!

Castelnau Castle

  • This magnificent castle is an iconic site of the Anglo-Saxon war, where the outcome and the withdrawal of English troops took place.

  • This castle is close to Beynac Castle and the Marqueyssac Gardens. It could make for a day to combine visits.

  • It is recommended to book in advance.

Le gouffre de Padirac

  • A beautiful Cenote.

  • It is recommended to book in advance.

  • A boat ride and walking tour inside are offered. The tour lasts about 2 hours.

Roque Gageac

  • La Roque Gageac is a beautiful village along the Dordogne River.

  • This village is notably visible from the Marqueyssac Gardens.

Dordogne Canoe

  • Want to stretch your arms in an open-air museum? Dordogne offers many outdoor activities like canoeing!

  • It is recommended to book in advance.

Reignac Fortress

  • One of my favorites! A medieval "house" built directly into the cliff.

  • A must-see place filled with numerous treasures spanning thousands of years.

  • The torture museum is unique in its kind.

Lascaux Caves

  • The very famous and iconic Lascaux Cave, the first rock art remnants of our prehistoric ancestors.

  • It is recommended to book in advance.

Rocamadour

  • A beautiful medieval village that was at the heart of the pilgrimage route. The path leading to the church is iconic and unique.

  • I highly recommend the Monkey Forest, just about ten minutes away, to observe monkeys in their natural habitat without cages or fences.

  • The Eagle Rock, also in Rocamadour, offers a breathtaking eagle show.

Puy du Fou

  • A bit further away, but a must-see for children passionate about art and performances, like us. This one is my favorite, and I highly recommend it.

Beynac Castle

  • Another cornerstone castle in the long Hundred Years' War!

  • This castle was the filming location for Luc Besson's "Joan of Arc" movie, for those in the know.

  • The path to the castle is a delight, walking through the old village.

  • It is recommended to book in advance.
